As part of our strategic growth plan for 2025, we’re thrilled to share that Aura’s India Studio has officially moved to a brand-new space. It’s modern, it’s inspiring and it reflects the momentum and ambition of our team.
Located just 3.5 kilometres from our previous office, the new studio is situated in Ozone Premia, right in the heart of Chennai’s bustling commercial district. With this move, we’re not just upgrading the space, we’re investing in the future of our people, creativity, and our clients.
This latest move supplements our future growth plan, adding to our new central US studio in Bentonville, Arkansas that launched in 2024 to service US brands and retailers.
Our global footprint today includes two production studios in India, Chennai and Bengalaru. Both our India studios have highly skilled and hugely talented teams, following the same training and processes as our other locations in the UK and USA.
Our former studio served us well for many years, but at 5,000 sq. ft. and over 36 years old, it no longer met the needs of our evolving team. With limited space, it quickly became clear a change was essential.
As Rakesh Kukillaya, Managing Director for India explains:
We work closely with our UK teams to create work for global clients from Tropicana to Walmart, offering a 24 hours a day, 6 days a week service.The new studio, at over 7k sq. ft., comfortably accommodates up to 100 colleagues, giving us the flexibility and capacity to scale with comfort and confidence.
You can see him cutting the ribbon in the photo below joined by the youngest and eldest members of the team, the idea was to recognize both the ‘illustrious past and vibrant future’ during the special occasion.
The new studio reflects our brand with its vibrant and bright features. With an open-concept layout surrounded by natural light, the space has been designed to promote creativity and collaboration, whilst ensuring efficiency to meet specific project needs.
Positioned in central Chennai, the new studio offers easy access for to bus and metro stations, restaurants, grocery stores, and shopping centres, the location ensures convenience and accessibility for every team member.
To celebrate the move, the team held a traditional candle-lighting ceremony. Its symbolic gesture is to officially launch special events and represents the dispelling of darkness by light, to welcome knowledge, warmth, and divine blessings.
