Consultancy
Unilever, one of the world’s largest consumer goods companies, tasked Aura’s packaging consultancy team with two objectives:
- To challenge the status quo through innovative secondary packaging ideation generation.
- To align its regional strategy with voluntary and industry requirements.
Working with Unilever, our consultancy team delivered:
- Significant reduction in secondary material usage.
- Efficiency savings as solution became modular and worked for all retail clients.
- Optimized stock inventory, moved from bespoke SRP solutions to one modular solution.
- Innovative solution led to on-shelf disruption.
- Full return on investment (ROI) proposal including capital expenditure (capex) provided to accompany concept development.
Aura delivered one solution for all customers / retailers in line with individual shelving requirements.
As a result, the Unilever team welcomed:
- An 82% substrate reduction, compared to current solution
- A 9-day improvement on distribution to store.
The client saw a return on investment within two years of the capex investment.
