Flora’s brand refresh set out to reinforce its position as a rich and creamy alternative to dairy – one that delivers superior performance in cooking, baking, and spreading without compromise. The new identity needed to reflect this positioning with a modern, standout design that would differentiate Flora on the shelf while maintaining familiarity for existing consumers.
Our challenge was to adapt and roll out this bold new look across multiple global markets, each with its own portfolio, product range, and regulatory requirements. From spreads to creams and blocks, the new identity had to be applied consistently across various pack formats, print methods, and languages – while ensuring the brand’s premium quality and taste credentials were visually reinforced.
We adapted Flora’s new identity to six distinct global brand portfolios, covering over 14 markets. The work spanned eight different pack formats, including spreads, blocks, creams, and upcoming new product developments (NPD). Our creative and technical teams collaborated to deliver over 150+ unique pack designs, ensuring a flawless rollout from design adaptation to print-ready artwork.
Maintaining consistency was essential. We managed intricate color palettes and paper-texture backgrounds across six different substrates and multiple print methods – balancing the need for local adaptation with global brand integrity.
We worked with local markets and printers to ensure the Flora brand lock-up (the brand leaf in ‘o’ combined with the background) was executed perfectly, guaranteeing Flora’s bold identity remained recognisable worldwide.
We developed comprehensive brand guidelines to serve as a blueprint for ongoing global adaptations, providing clear instructions on maintaining the new identity’s integrity and empowering teams across markets to protect and evolve the brand with confidence.
In four months, we delivered over 300+ production-ready files, ensuring maximum impact for Flora’s global launch. Our comprehensive brand guidelines empower future adaptations while maintaining the integrity of Flora’s new identity.
As specialists in branding and packaging design, we ensured Flora’s transition was seamless, supporting its mission to deliver the next generation of delicious, natural, nutritious food.
